I majored in graphic design at Hadassah-WIZO Canada Institute of Art in Haifa. In 2004, after years of working in the graphic design and art field, I stumbled upon a sculpting technique using wire mesh – an event that led me to follow in the footsteps of Shulamit Hartal, the developer and founder of the technique.
Working alongside Hartal opened up a whole world of self-expression. Being able to find my truth — within the folds and bends of the mesh — from the minute I start working all the way until the end, fulfils me. The material is so flexible I can change my desire as I go along, which makes the final piece a total surprise.”
